The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation recognizes the War Widows of 9 Grenadiers (Mewar) Regiment

A function honouring the War Widows of 9 Grenadiers (Mewar) Regiment was organized at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on the 14th November 2007. Representing Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Thakur Sahib and Thakurani Sahiba Bhupendra Singhji of Auwa attended the function and presented a cheque of Rs 11000/- to each of the twenty one War Widows, on behalf of The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.
The 9 Grenadiers (Mewar) Regiment presented Rs. 10,000/- in cash, a Shawl and silver goblet to each War Widow. The function was attended by officers of the regiment 9 Grenadiers (Mewar) with their wives and some ex-Mewari Officers. Brig. Arumy Raj SM Commandant Grenadiers Regimental Centre, and Mrs. Arumy Raj, Col. P.K. Airy Commandant 9 Grenadiers (Mewar) and Mrs. Airy were also present at the occasion. The ceremony was held to coincide with a Biennial Conference and Reunion of The Grenadiers that took place between the 12th to 15th November at Jabalpur, M.P .

Media Design and Printing Centre keeping pace with demand
In 2000 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur established a Media Design and Printing Centre in a small office in The City Palace Complex manned by two staff, Mr. Prince Kazmi and Mr. Prahlad Ray Soni with a digital printing machine, Xerox DC12.
Prince Kazmi and Prahlad Ray Soni are responsible for providing quality design and print solutions for the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation and HRH Group of Hotels. Their small office design and print all the publicity and promotional material needed by the organisation. This includes elaborate brochures, tariff sheets, menu cards, the HRH newsletter, magazines and posters. They also supply all the offices with their stationery requirements.
In 2004 a Mini Offset machine was installed. On the 8th November 2007 to keep pace with the increasing demand of material required a two colour offset machine MR227 was inaugurated by Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur. Today the Media Design and Printing Centre operates out of an office of 1900 square feet supported by 12 staff providing all design and print solutions in-house.
