Reaching Jagmandir
The Regal Experience at Jagmandir begins as guests reach Rameshwar Ghat to be ferried on boats to the island-palace.
The boat-ride to the island-palace builds the excitement, giving a 360 degree panoramic view of the City Palace Complex, Lake Palace Hotel, Arsi Vilas and Mohan Mandir (the smaller island-palaces).
For wedding ceremonies and for banquets, the boats are garlanded with flowers. On landing at the jetty, guests are greeted with shower of rose petals and walk along the candle-lit paths, decorated with more flowers.
The Regal Experience at Jagmandir is complete, with every detail thought-out and every action seamlessly executed.
The HRH Group has recently opened The Darikhana restaurant as another exclusive venue for stylish dining. Inaugurated on the 22nd September 2007 by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, this elegant colonnaded restaurant can seat up to 50 diners. Bookings can be made in advance. The venue is specially air-conditioned for the summer months and offers the finest Indian, Asian and Continental cuisine.
The menu has been specially designed to complement all times of the day as well as the evening. Light snacks and drinks are available before lunch as well as an extensive buffet at lunch time and a diverse al a carte menu is offered for dinner. The specially prepared four-course dinner is highly recommended. The new Picholi Bar presents a relaxed setting to enjoy a leisurely drink overlooking the lake.
