Celebrating Eid in Udaipur
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited Dr. Kamurudin Kanodwala and his family at the Khanjipeer Colony to convey wishes for the festival of Eid. Dr. Kamurudin Kanodwala is lecturer of Urdu at Meera Girls Governement College.

Eid-Deepawali Milan at Central Public School
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was the special guest at a joint celebration of Eid and Deepawali at the Central Public School, Udaipur campus on the 4th October 2008. Ms. Sapna Hegde HOD, Pacific Dental College officiated.
The Maharaj Kumar was welcomed by the school's director Ms. Alka Sharma. Prayers were offered to the Goddess Laxmi and sweets were distributed to the children who performed a folk dance from Gujrat, Garba, in traditional attire.
Before distributing prizes to students that included an award for the most original costume, the Maharaj Kumar told the audience that the joint celebration Eid-Deepawali Milan was a wonderful example of communal unity.

A Seminar on Road Safety
A seminar on Road Safety for students was organized by the Lion Club, Udaipur in association with the Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur at Maharana Mewar Public School Auditorium, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur on 6th October 2008.
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Before distributing the road safety pamphlets he counseled the students to adhere to the road safety rules set out by the Government, as a rule for life.
Mr. Prashant Vashishth, Principle, Maharana Mewar Public School gave the welcome address that was followed by a talk from Mr. Dinesh Kothari, President of The Lion Club. The seminar showcased a display of road safety slides and posters by Mr. Rakesh Samar, Secretary, The Lion Club.

Inauguration of a new restaurant in the heart of the city of Udaipur
67 years after the Parthaji Namkin opened in Udaipur, Mr. Varun Bandwal has established ' Anuj Restaurant’ in the heart of the city. This contemporary family run venture serves a wide range of local cuisine. The opening of 'Anuj Restaurant' was inaugurated by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur on the 9th October 2008.
Invitees included local dignitaries, administrative officers and associates from the Hospitality Industry.
