Inauguration of Andraab Showroom at New Fatehpura, Udaipur
The Andraab Showroom of Handloom and Embroidery was inaugurated by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur on 11th October 2008 at New Fatehpura, Udaipur.
Director, Mr. Muzarik Andraabi, said that his showroom would stock an extensive range of handloom materials and embroidered clothes attracting both tourists and local residents. Members of the hospitality and tourism office attended the event.

An Exhibition and Book Fair at Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir
Maharani Sahiba Vijayaraj Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, President, School Management Committee was accompanied by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur when she inaugurated an exhibition and book fair at the Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir on the 11th October 2008. Maharani Sahiba applauded the initiative that would be beneficial to students at the school.

A Visit to Sanjivani Hospital, Udaipur
Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited Sanjivani Hospital, Udaipur run by The Sanjivani Foundation where they were welcomed by Dr. Ajaysingh Chundawat.
Dr. Shailendra Singh gave a briefing on the facilities available and the services provided by the hospital with its provision for those unable to pay for their treatment.

Opening of the Florence Continental Hotel in Udaipur
The Florence Continental Hotel, a unit of Sanwaliya properties opened its doors on the 26th October 2008 at Gulab Bagh, Udaipur. The inauguration was performed by Mewar Mahamandleshwar Mahant Murli Manohar Sharan Shastri and Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur followed by lunch.
