• On the 5th March 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails for Mr. Shashank Warty, Area Vice President, The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Kempinski & The Residences and Mr.Tamir Kobrin, General Manager, The Leela, Udaipur accompanied by his wife.
• Mr. Graham Ashley Carter an engineering expert from the UK who has worked with Rolls-Royce cars for over 50 years revisited Udaipur in early March to support the Palace Garage Team in a major restoration project on the Rolls-Royce Phantom II, Chassis No RY 181. During his visit to the Palace Motor Garage Workshop and Vintage and Classic Car Collection, Garden Hotel, Udaipur he also did some fine tuning to the Rolls-Royce 20 hp Chassis No. GLK21 carrying out road tests over a distance of approx 50 miles.
Mr. Ashley Carter's family connection with Rolls Royce goes back to 1913. During the first-world war his father joined the war effort in Antwerp and as second lieutenant drove high ranking dignitaries including The Prime Minister Winston Churchill in Rolls Royce Open Silver ghost.

• On the 9th March 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted high tea for Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey, Ph.D., National Geographic Fellow. Ms. Lindsey is an Ethnographic Rescuer, First female Geographic Fellow. She is also an award winning filmmaker and anthropologist, and the first Polynesian explorer at the National Geographic Society
