Official engagements of Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur

Krishna Janmasthami celebrations at Udaipur
Shree Krishna Janmasthami was celebrated at Asthal Ashram, Shrinathji Ki Haveli as well as other sites around the city temples. Thousand of devotees observed fast and took prasad (panchamrit) after the midnight aarti.

Cribs were decorated at houses for Laddu Gopal and Matkifod (a game involving breaking a jar held at a great height) was organized at different places. Nandotsav was organized at Jagdish Temple and Dhada Dhadhin Leela in Nandotsav took place at Asthal Mandir & Shrinathji Ki Havali.

Asthal Ashram was decorated with lights and depicted extracts from the Ramayana and Bhagwat Gita. Nagar Parishad Chairman Mr. Ravindra Shrimali and Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur lit the lamp for the first observation. After midnight, aarti was conducted at the Asthal Ashram when many devotees flocked to the temple.

After 38 years Bhagwatishankar Vyas performed the rituals on behalf of Mahant Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Murli Manohar Shran Shastri who was absent in Ahmedabad due to ill health. During the festival Sangeet Natya Niketan, Meera Kala Mandir & Om Bhajan Party (Medata) performed devotional songs.

Udaipur Lakecity Round Table Treasure Hunt
Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was chief guest at the Udaipur Lakecity Round Table Treasure Hunt for four wheelers in Udaipur on 30th August when he flagged off the first car participating in the event. Udaipur Lakecity Round Table is the part of a movement known as 'Freedom through Education'. All its members are young professionals or businessmen active in 40 countries. The Udaipur Round Table has identified a government school in Devra Magri and is working to provide better facilities for BPL children. The Treasure Hunt was organised to raise funds for the project.
