Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur visits London to attend a workshop on security at the Victoria and Albert Museum
Following the very successful exhibition, Maharaja, The Splendour of India's Royal Courts that ran at the V&A in 2009, an invitation was extended to Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur by Ms. Sue Ridley, Head of Security and Visitor Services, to attend a week long workshop on all issues relating to Security and Visitor Care.

During his week in London from the 25th May until the 3rd June he met Mr. Ian Blatchford, Deputy Director at the V&A, Mr. David Flipping, Security Manager, Mr. Victor Batalha, Administration Manager, staff training, Mr. Alan McGregor, Gallery Manager, visitor care/ experience, Mr Martin Bastone, Senior Safety Advisor and Mr. Peter Timms, Safety Advisor, matters relating to control of fires; Mr. Stefan Hastilow, Gallery Manager, Sales and Information, Ms. Caroline Newton, Gallery Manager, events Ms. Jai Pillai, Gallery Manager and Ms. Nadia Thorp, Gallery Manager, responsible for visitor comments, sales, information and the V&A's switchboard.
Launch of One Call Service in Udaipur
On the 13th June, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was welcomed by, Mr. Deepak Sahu, Director, One Call Service to launch the first One Call Service in Udaipur at the Company's office at Town Hall Link Road. One Call Service has been set up to provide support to drivers of two wheelers and four wheel vehicles on the road.

On the 20th June, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur inaugurated a property association shop belonging to Mr. Yusuf Pathan located at Ashwani Bazaar, Udaipur.
