Mr. Bernard Wystraete is also a gifted multi- instrumentalist and award winner of the National Superior Conservator of Paris, improviser and flute specialist, including the most bass “Octobass” flute. He has performed as a Soloist flautist, arranger and assistant of musical direction of the French National Theatre.

Kartik Poornima was celebrated in association with HRH Group of Hotels, Udaipur. After the performance dinner was organized at the Manek Chowk, The City Palace Complex where a lavish buffet dinner was prepared by the chefs that captured the spirit and mood of the festival.

At Palki Khana, The Manek Chowk a special exhibition displayed merchandise from Aashka - The Lifestyle Boutique conceptualized by Ms. Bhargavi Kumari Mewar of Udaipur. Aashka promotes and develops crafts and artifacts from the Mewar region. Stone, marble, metal and semi-precious stone products were displayed for guests together with exclusive Amrapali Jewellery selected by Ms. Mewar, silver objects and Venetian glass were also on display. The Aashka boutique is located at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur.

Kartik Poornima occupies a pride of place in the calendar of regal festivals organized each year by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. Holika Dahan, Gangaur and Ashwa Poojan are the other regal festivals celebrated with traditional splendour at the City Palace Complex by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF). MMCF was established by His late Highness Maharana Bhagwat Singh ji Mewar in 1969. It has been facilitating the development of Udaipur as a heritage-city. MMCF has launched innumerable developmental activities to enhance the quality of life of the people of this historic city.

Education and outreach programmes, health care, heritage preservation and conservation, museum management and preservation of places of religious worship are some of the key activities of MMCF. The foundation has instituted annual international and national awards granted for services of a permanent value rendered to society. In addition, MMCF has set up a number of subsidiary trusts for religious and charitable purposes to give assistance to the underprivileged without distinction of caste, creed or religion.

Visit of His Excellency The Rt. Hon. Sir Anerood Jugnauth President of Mauritius.
On 24th November His Excellency The Rt. Hon. Sir Anerood Jugnauth President of Mauritius visited The City Palace Museum and The Crystal Gallery, Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur where he was welcomed by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Mr. B.S. Auwa, Deputy Secretary of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. He was accompanied by his wife and a number of delegates. In the Visitors Book he wrote "Thanks for the great welcome. It has been a very interesting and enriching visit".
