Conference on Security Aspects
On 1st November a conference on security aspects was held at The City Palace Complex, Udaipur. Mr. Sajjansinh Mayur Gohel, Security Analyst, International Security Director, Asia-Pacific Foundation briefed the participant about the present and day-to-day security scenario. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Chief of Operations - Security, Capt. P.L. Choudhary, Director of Security and Assistant Security Officers, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur were present on the occasion.

Inauguration of the Mewar Security Personnel Mess
On 3rd November Smt. Vijayaraj Kumari Mewar of Udaipur inaugurated the Mewar Security Personnel Mess at the City Palace Complex, Udaipur where a pooja ceremony was conducted. Later in the day Shriji also inspected the premises.

Wedding of Ms. Radhika and Mr. Nilaksh
On 17th November the marriage took place at Jagmandir Island Place between Radhika, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pradeep Ganediwal and Nilaksh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shyam Agarwal. A procession made its way from Rameshwar Ghat where guests were ferried across to Jagmandir Island Palace in boats. Ms. Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the ceremony to congratulate the newly wedded couple.
Mehandi ceremony and Sangeet took place on 16th November at The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace and Risala, Shikarbadi Hotel, Udaipur.

Kartik Poornima Celebration at The Manek Chowk
A majestic and colourful festival took place at the Manek Chowk, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur on the 20th and 21st November. The two day celebration of Kartik Poornima took place in the 17th Century Manek Chowk. A concert of western and Indian Classical music was staged by the Madras Chamber Orchestra under the baton of its renowned conductor Mr. Bernard Wacheux with a performance by the French flautist Mr. Bernard Wystraete. |
