1. Shriji accepted an invitation from Mr. Salil Singhal, Chairman and Managing Director, PI Industries Ltd, Udaipur. Shriji as guest of honour for the inaugural function of The Sony - PI R&D Laboratory Research Center at PI Industries Ltd. Udaipur. Dr. Osamu Kumagai, SVP Corporate Executive & President, Advance Material Laboratories together with other senior members of M/s Sony Corporation and Professors from Hokkaido University, Japan were also present on the occasion.
PI Industries is engaged in the business of agriculture inputs, custom synthesis and contract manufacturing of Synthetic Organic Chemicals and polymer compounding who head signed an agreement with M/s Sony Corporation of Japan to undertake Research and Development work in organic chemicals used in the Electronic Industry. It is the first time that M/S Sony Corporation has decided to take up Chemistry research and development in India.
