1. Accepting an invitation from Ms. Reena Gupta, Secretary, Buddha Group of institute, Udaipur. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the annual day ceremony 'Spandan 2011' as a guest of honour. Mr. Mewar was greeted by Mr. Vishal Gupta, Chairman, Buddha Group of Inst., Udaipur and Prof. Lokesh Bhatt, Group Director, Buddha Group of Inst., Udaipur. Mr. Mewar lit the lamp and also addressed students.

Visit of Students from the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India
On the 28th December a delegation of 16 students and teachers from the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India visited The City Palace Museum. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Deputy Secretary, Administration, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) welcomed and accompanied the delegates on a tour of the Museum and gave a brief history of the Culture and Heritage of Udaipur and the Mewar Region. The students and teachers also viewed video clips of Mewar's History describing the former capital Chittor, the founding of Udaipur and the construction of the City Palace as it has evolved over 450 years. The video provides the viewer with a sense of the concept of Custodianship and its meaning in 2012.

Unveiling of Palace Calendar 2012
On the 15th December Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur unveiled the Palace Calendar for 2012 at Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur. The theme for this year's calendar is the historical weapons and arms used by the Mewar Dynasty and also includes Festival dates. The calendar was designed by Mr. Narayan S. Maharshi. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Deputy Secretary, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation was also present on the occasion.

Christmas Eve Celebration
On the 24th December HRH Group of Hotels organised a Christmas Eve Celebration at The Pool Deck, Shiv Niwas Palace, Udaipur. The venue was festively decorated for a buffet dinner and Santa Claus made an appearance to present gifts to all guests. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Smt. Vijayraj Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the evening with Miss. Bhuvika Mewar Rathore. Celebrations were also held at other HRH Properties, Gajner Palace, Gajner, Bikaner; Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer and The Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh.
