Sunday 15th January,
1. Accepting an invitation from Mr. B.S. Shekhawat, Unit Head, Dainik Bhaskar and Mr. Harish Chandra Singh, Editor, Dainik Bhaskar, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the Lake City Carnival -2012 as a Chief Guest. The carnival featured ingeniously designed decorated floats representing science, art, culture, dance, drama, music, television, sports, history, heritage, statehood, nationality, folklore, custom, traditions and other aspects of life. The Parade started at the Town Hall and headed towards Lake Fatehsagar, Udaipur. The Carnival was attended by eminent dignitaries from Udaipur including Mr. Madan Paliwal, CMD, Miraj Group; Col. I.S. Sehdeva, Group Commander, NCC; Mr. Shailendra Dasora, Director, West Zone Culture Centre, Udaipur. The event was sponsored by Miraj Group, Udaipur, Co-sponsored by Vedanta Resources and powered by HRH Group of Hotels.

Wednesday 18th January,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the wedding of Soumen, son of the Late Mr. Nanda Gopal Das and Mrs. Rama Das and Mousumi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kuntal Ranjan Saha at Sarengi, Jessore Road, Kolkata. Mr. Mewar also attended their wedding reception on the 25th January at Shikarbadi Hotel, Udaipur.

Saturday 21st January,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, President, Udaipur District Cricket Association visited Chennai to attend the finals of the Ranji Trophy Cricket Match between Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. On the 23rd January the Rajasthan team regained the crown of Ranji Champions for the second year in a row securing a first-innings lead against Tamil. Mr. V. A. Saxena was the star performer for Rajasthan with a double century scoring 257 runs in the first innings and was declared Man of the Match for the finals.
