On the 29th June Dr. Shreekrishna Jugnu, Maharana Kumbha Awardee 2008 addressed the guides on Mewar ka vastu - shilp shastra ko yogdaan. A group of 21 guides attended the session.

Visit of Research Scholar: Ms. Natalia Cifuentes
Ms. Natalia Cifuentes, a student from Escuela Nacional de Conservacion, Restauracion y Museografia " Manuel del Catillo Negrete" Mexico City is attending an internship at the Pictorial Archives of the Maharanas of Mewar, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur for a month. Starting on the 11th June, Natalia is doing a statistical analysis of the photographic collection based on various categories which will provide material for the archives for future exhibition planning, loans and for other researchers and scholars.

Natalia is also researching the development of Indian photography and its relation with Mexican photography. She aims to put up an exhibition in Mexico.

Re-Classification of Shiv Niwas Palace, Udaipur
On the 7th June the Hotel Classification team led by Ms. Roma Singh- Regional Director (West ) India Tourism; Mr.Dhiraj Metha - General Manager Trident Udaipur; Mr Angad Deo Mandawa, Director, Mandawa Haveli Jaipur; Mr.Virendra Singh –Rajasthan Tours, Udaipur and Mr. Rahul Kanwar, Front Office Manager , The Leela Palace Kempinski, Udaipur reclassified Shiv Niwas Palace, Udaipur as Heritage Grand Category for the next 5 years. Mr. Adityaveer Singh, General Manager - Group Operations; Mr. H A Subramanian Vice President PR and Mr. Kunal Singh, General Manager Sales Travel and Trade represented HRH Group of Hotels at the Classification presentation.
