The book launch of the last part of the omnibus of the life of Maharana Fateh Singh
On the 17th September ‘Haqiqat Bahida (38 to 46) HlH Maharana Fateh Singh Ji Vol. VI’, an autobiography of Maharana Fateh Singh, based on his daily journal was launched by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF).

The book, with a total of 804 pages, is written in Hindi, Mewari, and English, based on Maharana Fateh Singh’s daily journal. The book incorporates a number of beautiful black & white as well as coloured photographs of Maharana Fateh Singh with visitors. It has been published by the printing division of MMCF, Maharana Mewar Historical Publication Trust. The editor and compilation-editor of the book are Late Dr. G. N. Sharma and Professor G. L. Suthar.

In the preface, Shriji has honoured his Great-grandfather Maharana Fateh Singh as, Suryavanshi Ruler. Haqiqat Bahida shows the golden era of his regime over 46 years, from December the 24, 1884 to May the 24, 1930. Five parts of his journal have already been published. This is sixth and final part and elucidates daily life of the Maharana after 1920 until May the 25, 1930. This collection of six books will be very illuminating for historians and scholars.

Visit of the guests from the Palace on Wheels
On the 8th September the first group of the season of 80 tourists from the luxury train Palace on Wheels visited Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur where they received a traditional welcome. When they reached Jaisalmer on the 9th September they were also received at Jaisalmer railway station by staff members of HRH Group of Hotels.
