1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the Golden Jubliee Celebration of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai from 6th March to 8th March 2013. On the 6th March Mr. Mewar attended their Golden Jubilee Banquet.

On the 7th March the august gathering assembled in the visitors' gallery to witness a splendid parade by the cadets of Officers Training Academy, which terminated with the release of a Postage Stamp, a First Day Cover and a Coffee Table Book “The Golden Milestone” comprising of wonderful photographs of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai since its inception. The parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Surendra Nath, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Army Training Command (ARTRAC). The occasion was attended by more than 500 Alumni of Officer Training Academy and their family members.

The parade was followed by a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the War Memorial in remembrance of all those who have laid their lives protecting their motherland. Since its foundation in 1963 the Academy has commissioned more than 27,000 Officers, 2,500 Lady Officers and approximately 400 Officers from friendly foreign countries.

Mr. Mewar was the Guest of Honour at the Golden Jubilee Dinner hosted at the OTA in the evening.
