1. As part of the 473rd anniversary celebrations of Maharana Pratap, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, President, Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti visited the Monument of Maharana Pratap at Moti Magri where he placed a floral tribute at the statue of Maharana Pratap and his valiant horse Chetak. A group of students with intellectual disabilities were also present on the occasion and were specially greeted by Mr. Mewar.

Mr. Mewar then joined a jubilant procession organised by Maharana Pratap Rajtilak Seva Samiti at Gogunda where he was greeted by Mr. Lal Singh Jhala, Vice President, Pradesh Congress Kisaan Sabha and Mr. Abhimanyu Singh Jhala, Vice President Gogunda Gram Panchayat.

The procession started at the Gogunda Panchayat Samiti Office and concluded at the coronation ground of Maharana Pratap where prayers were said before a meeting organized by Maharana Pratap Rajtilak Seva Samiti. At the coronation site, a monument of Bhilu Rana (one of the commanders in Maharana Pratap's army) was unveiled by Mr. Ashok Gehlot , Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Political leaders and social representatives were also present for the occasion.
