Guide orientation programme

As part of an ongoing series of Guide Orientation Programmes Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation held a series of GOP in June at the MMCF Conference Hall, COMPO, The City Palace, Udaipur.

On the 7th June Dr. Vishnu Prakash Mali briefed 49 guides on “Thriving Architecture of Mewar”.

On the 14th June Mr. Raja Ram Vyas briefed 42 guides on “Miniature Painting of Mewar”.

On the 22nd June Dr. Lalit Pandey briefed the guides on “Ancient Civilization of Mewar” that was attended by 52 guides.

On 28th June, 38 guides attended a lecture by Prof. Shashi Jain, College of Home Science- MPUAT, Udaipur on “Traditional Cuisine of Mewar”.

Visit of Mehrangarh Curatorial Team at The City Palace, Udaipur

On the 8th June Mehrangarh (Jodhpur) Curatorial Team visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The delegation included Ms. Sunyana Rathore, Assistant Curator; Ms. Nilanjana Som, Manager, External collections audit; Mr. Yassir, Curatorial intern; Ms. Christine, Curatorial inter and Mr. Dalpat Bhati, Design assistant. The team also visited the archives and storage area and were briefed about the software system.
