Visit of Senior NCC Cadets

The recent 'Rashtriya Ekta Shivir' organised in Udaipur pulled the Indian youth by thousands. A group of 684 senior NCC cadets attending this camp expressed their zeal to visit the City Palace Museum. The MMCF team respected their intent and opened doors for them offering free entry. A really happy bunch was seen coming out of the gates thanking the team for doing so.

Unveiling of Palace Calendar 2014

Ms. Padmaja Kumari Parmar with Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur unveiled the Palace Calendar for 2014 at The Zenana Mahal, The City Palace, Udaipur. The theme for this year's calendar is “Shree Ekling Dewan Ri Nobati Aswariya Ra Chitram”. Apart from the festival dates, the calendar showcases the custodians of the House of Mewar mounted on 'Nobati' horse through pictures and paintings. The showcase covers all the custodians from Bappa Rawal to Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar. On top of the frame is the chariot of Surya Narayan, followed by Bappa Rawal and then Rana Pratap, Maharana Jawan Singh, Maharana Swaroop Singh, Maharana Sajjan Singh, Maharana Fateh Singh and Maharana Bhupal Singh.
