Inaugurating the 3rd season of the fund raising FUTTA tournament

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar inaugurated the third season of FUTTA 5-A-Side Football tournament at Shikarbadi ground. Mr. Charles Martin, Chairman of S.S Music was the special guest for the occasion.

Addressing the event, Mr. Mewar said, “It is for the first time a football tournament of national level is being organized in Udaipur. This tournament will give opportunity for local football talents to nurture their passion and make it big in future.” 16 teams are taking part in this tournament and the winning team will get cash prize of Rs.51000. The motto of FUTTA Tournament Season-3 is to raise funds for the underprivileged children with the help of an NGO – Sohard Charitable Trust.

Declaring the match close

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended the closing ceremony of 5-A-Side FUTTA Tournament at Shikarbadi ground. The final match was played between Pacific University and Green Marble House, where team Pacific defeated Green Marble House in penalty shoot-out 3-2.

The organizer of the event Mr. Jinu K Samuel and SS Music's Chairman Mr. Charles Martin presented Rs.51000 cash to the winning team.

Match referees Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, Mr. Mahindra Singh, Mr. Naveen Soni, Mr. Devendra Singh and Mr. Irshad Khan were also felicitated.

Other guests included Brig. Harsh Vardhan Singh, Mrs. Nirmal Shaktawat, Mr. Sunil Kumar and Sheikh Khalid Jehangir.
