Ranakpur Festival

Ranakpur Festival was organized by Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan at Shree Suryanarayan Temple.

The main objective of the program was to develop tourist fall at Ranakpur and its nearby area. The two days program was full of recreational activities like Musical Yoga, Nature Walk, Mustache, Turban Tying, Godwar Shree competitions etc. In the evening, cultural programs were organized, the performing artists were Ms. Manjiri Kiran & group (Kathak Dance), Indian Classical by Vijay Sidha & party, Sufi Recital by Irfan Tufali & party, Marwari Rapp by Mr. Sankalp Sharma & Party and folk performance by Rajasthani artists “Keherava”. Besides this there were adventure sports like parasailing, Ballooning, Rock climbing, Horse race etc.

As per Shriji’s firm belief in Public-Private participation, he sanctioned the approval to provide, Amphi Theatre at Shree Surya Narayan Temple free of charge for the two day program. "Shree Suryanarayan Temple, Ranakpur is under “Shree Eklingji Trust, City Palace, Udaipur" for Puja, Seva, Bhog and related management since 2003.
