MMCF is supporting the project for the year 2016-17 with an objective to promote distribution of clothing, medical relief, books etc. and to help institution who are working for the benefit of widows.

SVSN organises a medical camp in Udaipur on every last Sunday of the month with free medical services which includes check-ups, referring to eye and dental hospitals, surgeries and free distribution of full course of medicines for the month for these widows. Presently 200 widows are enrolled and 135 are regularly getting benefited. This camp is conducted by senior eminent doctors of Udaipur. In April 2016 the camp was organised on 24th and more than 100 widows were benefited. The camp is coordinated by SVSN team members under the guidance of Smt. Manjula Bordia, President and Dr. Arun Bordia, Founder Member of SVSN, Udaipur.

'CAM' Workshop on 'Access in Museums in South Asia' in Jaipur

The Commonwealth Association of Museums(CAM) and the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, Jaipur organised a workshop on 'Access in Museums in South Asia', in partnership with ICOMOS India and supported by the International Institute for the Inclusive Museum and Eka Archiving Services, at Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, The City Palace, Jaipur from 25th to 28th March, 2016. The workshop was focused on the challenges of making buildings and collections physically and intellectually accessible, with a special focus on historic properties and collections.

The facilitators of the workshop were from different parts of the country and overseas and had great experience of museum studies especially from universal access point of view. Delegates were also from different Museums, institutions, universities, as Meharangarh Museum, Jodhpur and Baroda Museum, Vadodara and so on.

Dr. Rachna Khare presented their work on City Palace Museum, Udaipur. She was at the workshop as an MMCF resource person. Dr. Hansmukh Seth, Assistant Curator, MAMM, MMCF and Mr. Nikhil Tamboli, Assistant Architect, Projects, MMCF attended the workshop as MMCF representative.
