Museum Visit and Interactive seminar for Raman Bhakta School of Architecture

The faculty and students of Raman Bhakta School of Architecture, Uka Tarsadia University, Surat, Gujarat who were studying the Mewar style of Architecture in Udaipur havelies for almost a month, came to visit The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. They had a wonderful session with Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief, MMCF on the History of Mewar and the development of Udaipur historically in 400 years. They also had a session conducted by Mr. Nikhil Tamboli, Asst. Architect, MMCF Projects on Restoration at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. They also had an interactive session with Mr. Auwa and Ms. Purva Bhatia, Executive - MMCF Outreach Programmes in which they cleared their doubts regarding their visit and sessions attended. The event was supported by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.

Painting Exhibition Titled: "We will meet again some sunny day"

Artist Mr. Pratap Singh held a 7 day painting exhibition titled "We will meet again some sunny day" supported by MMCF. The exhibition was held at The City Palace's Chhota Darikhana, Ganesh Chowk.

An interactive seminar by Miss Kavya Saxena

Over 400 children participated from four government school including Govt. Fateh Sr. Hr. School, Surajpol; Govt. Girls higher secondary School, Jagdish Chowk; Govt. Sr. Sec Bhatyani Chotta; Govt. Girls School, Residency Udaipur. The participating students were from classes 9-12.

A seminar on History of Mewar and a youth orientation programme was organised after the students had walked through the museum by MMCF.

An interactive seminar on topics The Fables of Mewar and beyond, Udaan with crazy feet Kavya was conducted by Ms. Kavya Saxena.

The Seminar was held on the occasion of Swami Vivekanad Jayanti National Youth Day is celebrated in India on 12 January every year on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India.
