Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided donation to Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Trust, Mumbai for organising Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise the funds for 250 beds in charitable hospital in remote tribal belt of Southern Gujarat (Dharampur in Valsad district) to support other public charities.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to Mr. Jaikishan Chobe for the publication of monthly Akshay Lokjan magazine.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. The Staff's yearly medical check-ups are also organised by the Foundation. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. A total number of 1200 patients were treated in the month of January 2018.

Academic Initiative

Visit by students from the Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University, Assam

A group of sixteen students from the Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University, Assam led by Ms. Subhra Devi, PhD, Asst. Curator Museum, Dept. of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on 04th January 2018. They had an interactive session with Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur.

Udaipur's Tribute to Surdas, a lecture by Prof. John S. Hawley

MMCF organised a lecture on illustrated manuscripts of the 'Sursagar' by Prof John S. Hawley, Claire Tow Professor of Religion at Barnard College, Columbia University, USA at MMCF Conference Hall, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. He discussed the illustrations made at Udaipur during the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries.
