Supporting the 'Widow Care Project' at Udaipur, Rajasthan

MMCF is supporting the project for the year 2016-17 with an objective to promote distribution of clothing, medical relief, books etc. and to help institution who are working for the benefit of widows. SVSN organizes a medical camp in Udaipur on every last Sunday of the month with free medical services which includes check-ups, referring to eye and dental hospitals, surgeries and free distribution of full course of medicines for the month for these widows.

In this month of February, SVSN organized a medical health check-up camp at Theosophical Society on 25.02.2018. In this camp Dr. Arun Bordia and Dr. Maina Jain examined the patients. Mr. Surajmal Porwal tested blood sugar and blood pressure. Free medicines were given for a month as prescribed by doctors and pension was also given.

Supporting Saksham Project of Yuva Pahal, Pali, Rajasthan

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, The City Palace, Udaipur is supporting the Saksham Project of Yuva Pahal, Pali to organize skill training project for the girls of Government Senior Secondary School based at Rohat, Pali, Rajasthan. The objective of Yuva Pahal is to empower every girl and woman through skill and education so that she can support her family. Empowering means make them capable in every aspect hence we call it - Being Saksham.

In the month of February, learners had exhibited their works at the skill training centre during the exhibition. Students learned about various types of skirts like Platted skirt, umbrella skirt, up and down kurta, asymmetrical kurta, hand embroidery and fancy jackets from waste cloth material etc. At the end of the event, winners of the competition got the certificate of appreciation.
