Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outlaying expenditure is charity being done through its direct donations to motives such as, scholarships supports, pension schemes, endowments and medical-aids, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence in various walks of life and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the motive. Scholarships are awarded to students at every level of education, from primary school to postgraduate research scholars. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly in a unbiased way. The numbers can range from a single scholarship granted to one student to cover their entire course of graduate studies or, to a number of students to help subsidies school/college fees.

Medical Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided medical assistance to Mr. R.K. Shetty, Udaipur for the alleviation of all aspects of human suffering.

Supporting Saksham Project of Yuva Pahal, Pali, Rajasthan

Yuva Pahal is an emerging NGO of Rajasthan engaged in the social development and women empowerment through integrated family welfare and livelihood projects. Since its inception from year 2005, Yuva Pahal has trained 5900 youth and women from rural and urban area through its various skill training programs in various districts across Rajasthan. Yuva Pahal believes that Building livelihoods through microenterprises for girls and women is one of the remarkable steps for developing sustainability, improving household income and creating jobs where these are actually required. Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to support the project titled Project Sakhsham for the skill training program for girls at Rohat, Pali, Rajasthan for the year 2018- 19.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy who are unable to pay for medical treatment. Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. People of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. A total number of 1025 patients were treated in the month of January 2019.

Supporting the 'Widow Care Project' at Udaipur, Rajasthan

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation is providing financial assistance to support the 'Widow Care Project' at Udaipur, Rajasthan for the year 2018-19. This project has been running since 2012 under the aegis of Swami Vivekanand Sewa Nyas, Udaipur. While in urban areas SVSN supports financially and health care for needy widows. SVSN has undertaken an endeavour to improve the quality of life of destitute widow residing in Udaipur and neighbouring areas of Udaipur with an objective to provide free monthly medical check-up by doctors, distribution of medicines for the whole month and if necessary refer them to other specialties for surgeries like cataract, dental care; to provide monthly pension to widow so that they can fulfil their very basic needs; to provide scholarship stationeries and uniforms to children of young widows so that they can continue their education and to provide skill development training to young capable widows so that they can earn their livelihood. The trust is inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekanand: 'Daridra Devo Bhava' (To serve the poor is to serve God).
