Aagad at a glance::

The word 'Aagad' is a Mewari word in connection with the Elephant fights. The word implies 'to come forward in aggression.' The two male elephants (Hathis) facing each other would become aggressive and barge towards the other to fight. This is known as Aagad.
 
 
E-Ticket to The City Palace Museum, Udaipur
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, Chairman and Managing Trustee, MMCF inaugurated the online ticketing system for The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, at Shambhu Niwas Palace, on 10th March 2021.
 
Participated in the Bihar Museum Biennale

The Biennale was the 1st of its kind to have been organized. It was an initiative of Bihar Museum, Patna, and the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth Affairs, Government of Bihar, and was led by the Biennale's Project Director, Dr. Alka Pande. The City Palace Museum, Udaipur participated in this Biennale.
 
 
Holika Dahan Ceremony 2021

Holi, the festival of colors is one of the most popular Indian festivals. It is celebrated at the onset of spring. This year it was celebrated on 28th March 2021. As of COVID pandemic the event was confined to the palace without guests and following the age old ritual practices and keeping the heritage alive.

 
100th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Bhagwat Singh

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of its founder; Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar of Udaipur (r. 1955 - 1984), according to the Vikram Samvat Calendar dated Ashad Krishna Paksh Ekum. He defined the roles and responsibilities of the Maharanas of Mewar in modern yet traditional and cultural form.
