Dr. Shankar Balachandran, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Suriname visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on 06th Sept 2022. He was greeted by Dr. Mayank Gupta, Deputy Secretary - Development, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. He visited Mardana Mahal and Zenana Mahal of the City Palace, Museum.

In the visitors book he wrote "Learnt about the 1500 years history of Sisodiyas of Mewar and quite impressed. Feel proud of the Rajput heritage. Their velour, sacrifice and above all their patronage of the art and respect for values"

Mr. S.P. Singh Baghel, Minister of state for law and justice, Government of India accompanied by his family visited The City Palace Museum on the 16th September 2022.
