Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment.

A total number of 2029 patients were treated in the month of July - October 2022.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable foundation has supported Lokayan Sansthan to organise Rajasthan Kabir Yatra 2022 at Udaipur that is scheduled on 02nd October 2022 at Fatehsagar Pal, Udaipur. Rajasthan Kabir Yatra is India's longest travelling folk music festival, celebrating the oral traditions of the Bhakti, Nirgun and Sufi poetries. This folk music festival voyages across the rural regions of Rajasthan every year between 2nd and 8th October. Yatra is organised every year by Lokayan, an NGO based out of Bikaner in partnership with Rajasthan Police & Rajasthan Tourism.

Maharana of Mewar Charitable foundation is supporting Master Jasbir Kingrani of Class IXth student and Master Ridhish Sanadhya of Class VIIth for their academics.

Celebrating "Child Welfare Day"

On the 04th October 2022 Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation arranged a tour of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur for the destitute boys/girls residing in Udaipur. This was in support to the Child Welfare Day in collaboration with the office of the Deputy Director Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Udaipur.

The kids were overwhelmed to see the City Palace Museum and were proud to know the glorious history of City Palace, Udaipur. Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, Additional District and Sessions Judge/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (ADJ), Udaipur, Mr. Mandhata Singh Ranawat, Deputy Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Udaipur, Mr. Dhruv Kumar Kavia, Chairman Child Welfare Committee, Udaipur under the tour program and Mr. Hemant Khatik, District Probation and Social Welfare Officer, Udaipur, Mr. Rajkumar Jinnagar, Protection Officer, Child Empowerment Department, Udaipur, Mr. Bharat Bhushan Nagda, Hostel Superintendent etc. were present.

Academic Initiatives

My Mini Museum Bag - A World Paper Bag Day Activity

A Paper-bag making activity was conducted with visitors on 12th July 2022 to celebrate World Paper Bag Day. Visitors / participants were encouraged to make and design their versions of a mini 'Museum Bag.' The activity attempted to emphasize on sustainable, environment friendly practices, and encourage visitors to think and get creative. It was conceptualized keeping in mind the recent ban on plastics. The activity was conducted at Chowmukha, Lakshmi Chowk, Zenana Mahal.
