Ganesh Chowk

Ganesh Chowk: The foyer from Darikhana ki Pol opens in the west to Ganesh Chowk. It was built by Maharana Karan Singh, r. 1620-1628 on the roof of the Sat Navari Paiga, meaning seven and nine stables for horses.
 
 
Exhibition opening - A Splendid Land: Paintings From Royal Udaipur
The much awaited, landmark exhibition A Splendid Land: Paintings From Royal Udaipur, was opened to the public at the Smithsonian, on 19th November 2022. The exhibition was inaugurated on 17th November 2022 in the presence of Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF and Mr. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Indian Ambassador to the United States.
 
Unveling The Palace Calendar 2023

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF unveiled the annual Palace calendar 2023 of 'Shri Vishnu Devalaya' of Udaipur 'Mewar' published by Maharana Mewar Historical Publications Trust, Udaipur.
 
 
Workshop - Metals in Mewar: From Bronze to Steel

In its effort towards promoting and safeguarding the arts, the living traditions and particularly, the culture of Mewar, The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur organized a three day workshop titled 'Metals in Mewar: From Bronze to Steel' (MIM), from 15th to 17th December 2022.

 
Visit of G20 delegates to The City Palace Museum, Udaipur

The G20 Sherpa meeting under India's presidency was hosted by Udaipur from 4th -7th December 2022. The four day gathering set the stage for the conversations on some of the most pressing global issues. The Sherpa's visited The City Palace Museum on the 05th December 2022 and were very impressed to know the history and culture of Udaipur. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF attended the colourful evening at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur that was hosted for the G20 delegates.
