The Heritage Motor Launch before restoration

Heritage Motor Launch

The House of Mewar has collected Classic boats over many years. Two motor launches known as Heritage Motor Launch Ford and the Heritage Motor Launch chrysler have recently been restored. In June 2007 a major project was initiated to adapt the launches to meet today's environmental criterion. Norwegian engineer Mr. Rony Askuen also provided technical expertise to make the boats more user friendly using Bow Thrusters. The biggest challenge was to restore the launches retaining their original shape and design but using fibre glass over the original wood work. After completion the launches were painted white with red and gold stripes.
The seventeen seater launch is now operating on Lake pichol
