Palki Khana, The City Palace Complex

Regal dining at Palki Khana, The City Palace Complex
The Palki Khana restaurant was completed in February 2006. The restaurant takes its name from the Zenana Palkies (Palanquins) which, in former times, were kept on the ground floor of the building. Today the building houses an exclusive shopping arcade and a hip resto-bar, the Palki Khana. The restaurant is open to all visitors to the City Palace Complex and serves continental and international cuisine, light meals and snacks throughout the day. The restaurant is set in peaceful environs with majestic views of the Manek Chowk. Renowned for its selection of coffee, Cappuccino, Mocha Chillo, Café Frappe and iced teas the restaurant also serves sandwiches, snacks, vegetarian and non-vegetarian pizzas. The venue is particularly popular in the evening when guests can enjoy international and Indian cuisine in the City Palace Complex after watching a performance of the Mewar Sound and Light Show at the Manek Chowk. Privilege Card Holders enjoy a thirty percent discount.
