Visit of G20 delegates to The City Palace Museum, Udaipur

The G20 Sherpa meeting under India's presidency was hosted by Udaipur from 4th -7th December 2022. The four day gathering set the stage for the conversations on some of the most pressing global issues. The meeting was held at Sabhaghaar Conference Hall, The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. Mr. Amitab Kant, the G20 Sherpa of India, welcomed G20 guest to Udaipur. The meeting in the City of Lakes is the first of around 200 gatherings that will take place across 55 Indian cities over the next one year. The Sherpa's visited The City Palace Museum on the 05th December 2022 and were very impressed to know the history and culture of Udaipur.

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF attended the colourful evening at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur that was hosted for the G20 delegates.

India formally assumed G20 Presidency from Indonesia on December 1, 2022. G20 is a group of 20 intergovernmental forum of the world's major developed and developing economies. It comprises Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the US, and European Union.

Various folk artists of the state of Rajasthan performed at the "Colors of Rajasthan" at Jagmandir Island Palace and a vibrant presentation on various art style of India was held at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur. The delegates also visited Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Temple.
