Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outgoing expenses is charity being done through its direct donations to causes, such as, support to scholarships, endowments, pension schemes and medical-aid, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias. The trust has also sponsored and subsidized the presentation of research papers at symposia both in India, and across the globe.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. A total number of 482 patients were treated in the month of January 2024 and 535 patients were treated in the month of February 2024.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to Rajput Regimental Centre, to support the war widows and to Shree Ayyappa Seva Samiti, Udaipur for the Makar Sankranti Celebration in the month of January 2024. In the month of February 2024 financial assistance were provided to PWD Department of Udaipur for Public Barricading facilitation in Mahashivratri 2024 Mela at Kailashpuri; Mr. Gunjan Agarwal for writing and designing of coffee table book on Bharatmata Chitrakala, Sthapatya evam Sahitya mien abhivyakt Bhartiya Rashtravad.

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar had the honor of meeting with Lt. Gen. Amardeep Singh Aujla, UYSM, YSM, SM, VSM, Colonel of the Regiment, Rajputana Rifles on 27th September 2023, at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre and Officers Mess, New Delhi.

Their discussion covered a wide range of current national issues. Lt. Gen. Aujla expressed his deep admiration for the legacy of the Maharanas of Mewar, emphasizing their unwavering bravery, valor, and sacrifice for the nation. He even thanked Mr. Mewar for the support extended to the Rajputana Rifles, Regimental Centre and the Veer Naris of the regiment. As a token of appreciation, Lt. Gen. Aujla presented Mr. Mewar with a Yamadhar, a dagger historically used by Rajput warriors in close combat and now serving as the crest of the Rajputana Rifles since India's independence.

MMCF donated Rs. 1 lakh along with the painting of the Battle of Haldighati; Maharana Pratap and Statue of Maharana Pratap and Kumbhalgarh as memento. Mr. Mewar was accompanied by Captain Rishab Suri (Retd.), Director of Security and Administration, Central Office Mewar Palace Organisation Private Limited.
