Mavli Litterateur Pays Courtesy Visit

On the 17th April, 2024 renowned Mavli litterateur, Mr. Basant Kumar Tripathi, recently had the honor of meeting with Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF during which he presented a poetry book authored by the esteemed litterateur, Dr. Jagdish Chandra Sharma. In addition to this thoughtful gesture, a set of 25 books was graciously gifted to Mr. Mewar as a token of appreciation. The meeting was graced by the presence of Ms. Vishya Tripathi, Ms. Sita Sharma, and Mr. Sudhir Upadhyay, adding to the warmth and significance of the occasion. Such interactions not only foster literary exchange but also strengthen the cultural bonds within the community, showcasing the spirit of collaboration and appreciation for literary works.

Annual Guide Orientation Programme on International Day for Monuments and Sites

The Guide Orientation Programme, organized by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, aims to create awareness and educate the guides at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. On the 17th and 18th of April 2024, the Annual Guide Orientation Programme was held in conjunction with the International Day for Monuments and Sites. Dr. Nitin Goyal, Director of Rajasthan State Archives, Bikaner, graced the event with his extensive knowledge and expertise.

Over the course of two days, Dr. Goyal delivered enlightening lectures on the theme "Documental Heritage: A New Sphere for Tourist Attraction." His profound insights into the history of Rajasthan and the significance of archival records left a lasting impression on all attendees. From informative sessions to engaging discussions, each aspect of the event contributed to enhancing guide awareness and education.

International Sculpture Day with School and College Students

A workshop on World Sculpture Day was organized by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, at the City Palace, Udaipur on the 27th of April 2024. Students from schools and universities were introduced to the ancient stone sculptures housed in the City Palace Museum.
