Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outgoing expenses is charity being done through its direct donations to causes, such as, support to scholarships, endowments, pension schemes and medical-aid, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias.

Ms. Sharda Panwar

The trust has also sponsored and subsidized the presentation of research papers at symposia both in India, and across the globe. In the month of May, Ms. Sharda Panwar, the daughter of Mr. Shankar Lal Panwar, was provided a scholarship for her Final Year in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program.

 

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. A total number of 219 patients were treated in the month of May 2024 and 177 patients were treated in the month of June 2024. Mr. Trilok Chand was provided medical assistance for his Spinal treatment.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to Mr. Rod Singh Devra to publish his research analysis of the Impact of Urbanization in Ahar River Catchment Area.

Devotional Music Evening: Ek Shaam Maa Karni Kay Naam

On the 21st May 2024 "Ek Shaam Maa Karni Kay Naam" devotional music evening was held at the handicraft market in Dudhtalai, Udaipur. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), attended the event.

The evening was organized by the Pujari Family and featured a special pooja and maha aarti. The event also included a series of bhajans performed by renowned singers Mr. Bhagwat and Miss Trisha. The singers enthralled the audience with their soulful renditions, creating a spiritual and uplifting atmosphere. The "Ek Shaam Maa Karni Kay Naam" event was a beautiful celebration of devotion and music, bringing together people from all walks of life to pay homage to the goddess. The event was a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan and the importance of preserving and promoting its traditions.
