Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outgoing expenses is charity being done through its direct donations to causes, such as, support to scholarships, endowments, pension schemes and medical-aid, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias.

In the month of July 2024 the trust supported Master Tanishak Jain of Class X, son of Ms. Nisha Jain; Master Riddhish Sanadhya of Class IX, son of Ms. Leena Sanadhya; Miss. Misha Sukhwal of Class XI, daughter of Ms. Vandana Sukhwal; Master Jasbir Kingrani of Class XI, son of Ms. Paramjit Kaur Kingrani; Miss. Kritika Pujari of Class XI daughter of Ms. Yashoda Odichy (Pujari); Miss. Ashwin of Class XI, daughter of Ms. Sangeeta Agrawal and Master Vanraj Singh Champawat of Class VI, son of Ms. Bhanwar Kunwar Champawat for their further studies. In the month of August 2024 the trust supported Miss. Riddhima Shrimal of Class XII, daughter of Ms. Purnima Shrimal for her studies.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. A total number of 320 patients were treated in the month of July 2024 and 338 patients were treated in the month of August 2024.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to Mr. Harshwardhan Singh Shaktawat, Udaipur for the purchase of equipments for Kayaking and Canoe Sports; to Mr. Gunjan Agrawal for the publication of coffee table book on 'Bharatmata : Chitrakala, Sthapatya evam Sahitya mein abhivyakt Bhartiya Rashtravad' in the month of July 2024.

Students from Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan Visit City Palace, Udaipur

Students from Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan, which employs both modern and Vedic teaching methods, visited the City Palace in Udaipur on 05th July 2024. During their visit, they engaged in a brief interaction with Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. Mr. Mewar inquired about the school's diverse teaching methodologies, physical training programs, and commended the curriculum that integrates modern education with Vedic principles. The Gurukul Shikshan Sansthan caters to students up to class 6, offering a unique blend of traditional Sanatan education and contemporary academic subjects. The curriculum includes teachings on the Vedas, music, and recitation of Bhagavad Gita shlokas, and physical training, which encompasses lathi art. Additionally, students receive in-depth Sanskrit instruction starting from the fourth grade, studying texts such as the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Sanskrit grammar, and Vedanta. The school also encourages participation in seminars focused on these subjects. The visit was accompanied by Principal Mr. Hemadri Mali and faculty members Mr. Rushik, Mr. Ashish Singh, and Mr. Lokesh, who contributed to the enriching experience for the students.

Jagannath Rath Yatra in Udaipur Celebrated with Grandeur

The annual Jagannath Rath Yatra was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in Udaipur, on July 7, 2024. The grand procession started from the historic Jagdish Temple, where the silver chariot adorned with 90 kg of silver is housed. The 400-year-old Jagdish Temple witnessed the gathering of thousands of devotees and tourists for the auspicious occasion.
