Visit to Kuldevi Baanmata Ji Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, visited the temple of Kuldevi Baanmata Ji in Chittorgarh to seek blessings and attend the Chappan Bhog on 11th October 2024. Baanmata is revered as the Kuldevi of the Sisodia dynasty of Mewar. During his journey, Mr. Mewar received a warm welcome from local residents. The temple, located within the historic Chittorgarh Fort, holds significant cultural and spiritual importance for the Mewar royal family and their followers. Baanmata Ji is celebrated for her protective blessings and is associated with various legends that highlight her role in safeguarding the Sisodia lineage. This visit underscores the enduring connection between the royal family and their heritage, as well as the continued reverence for traditional deities in the region.
Dussehra Fair Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, served as the Chief Guest at the Dussehra Fair organized by Shiv Dal at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Square in Malla talai, Udaipur on 12th October 2024. The event commenced with a vibrant procession that made its way from the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple to Subhash Square, followed by a Bhajan Sandhya (devotional musical evening). The festivities culminated with the traditional burning of the effigy of Ravan, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. |
Among the other distinguished guests were Mr. Tara Chand Jain, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Udaipur City, along with Mr. Ravindra Shrimali and Mr. Manoj Mehta from Shiv Dal. The fair was a lively celebration, bringing together the community in honor of this significant cultural event.
