The City Palace Museum Represents at National Seminar in Shimla

Ms. Geetika Kumar, Assistant Curator at the City Palace Museum, Udaipur, represented MMCF at the National Seminar organized by the Himachal State Museum, Shimla. Held from December 10th to 12th, 2024, the seminar focused on the theme 'Role of Museums in the Development of Society and Preservation of Cultural Heritage.' Ms. Kumar presented a paper titled "Preserving the Past, Shaping the Future," highlighting the museum's efforts to safeguard Mewar's cultural heritage through community engagement and initiatives like the "Recording the Voices of Mewar" project.

This initiative documents oral histories and traditions, ensuring their preservation for future generations.

Her presentation emphasized the importance of collaborative heritage conservation, showcasing how partnerships with local communities help protect and celebrate Mewar's rich legacy.

A group of students from St. Paul's Senior Secondary School, Chittorgarh, accompanied by Principal Fr. National Astrology Conference at The City Palace, Udaipur

The three-day National Astrology Conference, organized by the All India Oriental Astrology Research Institute in collaboration with Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, was held from 13 to 15 December 2024 at Khush Mahal Chowk in The City Palace, Udaipur. The event witnessed an impressive gathering of over 150 astrology scholars from across India, who came together to share their expertise and insights into various branches of astrological science.
