Traditional Chadar Vidhi Observed at Meetharamji Temple, Udaipur

The Mahanta Chadar Vidhi ceremony was solemnly concluded at the Shri Narsinhdwara Meetharamji Temple in Udaipur on May 03,2025. The program, marked the demise of Mahant Mewar Mahamandaleshwar Ramchandradas Khaki of the temple, located at Raoji Ka Hata in Udaipur.

On this occasion, Balsant Naunidhidas was ceremnially installed on the throne of Mahant Mewar Mahamandaleshwar by the traditional observance of the Chadar Vidhi. The proceedings were conducted in accordance with the established saint traditions. Mahant Harshitadas remarked that, amidst the presence of the entire Vaishnav community, distinguished dignitaries, and devotees, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar performed the Chadar Vidhi on behalf of both the saint and Vaishnav communities, in keeping with age-old custom.

Shiv Dal Mewar Presents Haldighati Soil to Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar

Members from Shiv Dal Mewar, led by Mr. Manish Mehta called on Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at The City Palace, Udaipur on 24th May, 2025 where Shriji was smeared with tilak and the soil of Haldighati was handed over to him before this, this soil, a symbol of valour, was worshipped with chanting of mantras in the palace. This was part of the Maharana Pratap Jyanti celebration. Shriji mentioned this moment is historic and a proud moment, everyone should take inspiration from Pratap's sacrifice and pledge to work for the nation.
