Between 1936 and 1954, Maharana Bhupal Singh hosted His Holiness Syedna Taher Saifuddin on several occasions in Udaipur(21st March 1936, 07th May 1936), with ceremonies marked by processions, audiences, and memorable courtesies. Of notable significance was the Syedna's presence at the opening of the Tayyebiya School in Udaipur in 1937, a moment emblematic of shared commitment to education and community welfare. Another historic interaction occurred on 2nd October 1954, when the Syedna visited the Palace. Demonstrating humility and respect, he left his shoes outside the lift before entering Pitam Niwas, and when seated in audience with the Maharana, he angled his chair as a mark of deference. The scene, immortalized by photographs, epitomized the mutual reverence defining this enduring bond.

After Maharana Bhupal Singh, the relationship continued in its unbroken lineage. On 9th October 1993, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, the 76th Custodian, attended an occasion at Badi Sadri with the Bohra community, reaffirming the continuity of these ties across changing times.

In the 21st century, these relations were revitalized through the sincere efforts of Maharaj Kumar Sahib Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur. In 2015, he extended a formal invitation to His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (the 53rd Spiritual Leader) to visit Udaipur, an invitation graciously accepted. The following days witnessed ceremonial exchanges, including solemn welcomes at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur, in February 2015, and later in October 2022, when His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin visited Bhinder and was courteously invited once more to grace Udaipur during Muharram. Each occasion was marked by public ceremonies and heartfelt expressions of respect, with community participation highlighting the living nature of this historical bond.
