Legacy at a glance
The origins of this newsletter lie in the revered tradition of Bahida's - the handwritten records famously known as the daily dairies, maintained with great care since the late 18th century. Daily records, the Bahidas are the authentic records of the State of Udaipur - Mewar, preserved at the Maharana Mewar Research Institute. Today, this newsletter carries that same spirit forward, transforming a centuries-old tradition of record keeping into a contemporary chronicle that honours our past while documenting the journey of the present for generations yet to come.
