Urban Sketchers Mark Udaipur Foundation Day with Live Art

On 19 April 2026, the Udaipur chapter of Urban Sketchers gathered at City Palace Museum to celebrate Udaipur Foundation Day by sketching its architectural and cultural splendour. Forty artists produced live sketches and paintings inspired by the City Palace and the city's heritage. The works, capturing Udaipur's history, charm, and skyline, were displayed at the museum for visitors during the celebration.

Melodies of Mewar: Saturdays at Baadi Mahal

The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) celebrates Mewar's timeless cultural heritage with enchanting weekly musical performances at Baadi Mahal in the City Palace Museum, Udaipur. Every Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, masterful resident artists perform on Mr. Harphool Ramnayak performing on Rawan Hatha at Baadi Mahal beloved traditional instruments, including the santoor, flute, jal tarang, violin, sitar, and sarangi, right in the heart of historic splendor. Open to all visitors, these concerts bring classical Ragas to life amid the palace's architectural grandeur.

The HELLO! India Hall of Fame Awards 2026 were held on 22nd March 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai, celebrating excellence across entertainment, business, fashion, and heritage.Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar received the prestigious 'Royal Heritage Custodian of the Year' award, presented by Mr. Tarun Pandey, COO of Istituto Marangoni Mumbai, and Ms. Urvashi Rautela. The honour recognises his outstanding leadership in preserving Mewar's 1,500-year-old legacy while advancing heritage conservation and philanthropy.Under his stewardship, Rajasthan's iconic heritage palaces continue to thrive alongside impactful community initiatives. His humanitarian work, recognised through 10 Guinness World Records, includes large-scale food distribution, environmental conservation, girls' education, and the full funding of a government girls' school in Udaipur, reaffirming Mewar's enduring commitment to social welfare.
