Shriji's visit to Kuala Lumpur
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur was on a four day visit to Kuala Lumpur from April 04 to April 07, 2007. His visit was organised by Mr. Rafiq Jumabhoy who is a frequent visitor to Udaipur and attended the Maharana Mewar Annual Distribution Award ceremony with his wife Loubnan in 2000. First on his agenda was a private theme dinner, 'Fusion' organized by the manager of Hotel Sri Pacific on April 04, 2007.

On the 5th April, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended asn exhibition ‘Neither East nor West’ organised by the Islamic Arts Museum, Malaysia with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. The exhibition was opened by Syed Jaafer Albar, Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Inverted Dome Pavilion and followed by a formal dinner organised by Mr. S. M. Albukhary.

Mr. Tristan Russell, a tea plantation owner organized a special dinner for Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur on April 06, 2007. On April 07, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended a talk by Dr. Amin Jaffer of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Dr. Jaffer delivered a talk based on his latest book, Made for Maharajas: A Design Diary of Princely India.

Dr. Jaffer spoke about the luxury goods made in Europe exclusively for Indian princes, and some of the rare and eccentric commissions, set against the socio-political background of princely life during the British Raj. A dinner was hosted by Mr. Ramli Ibrahim.

Toyota Delegation
A delegation from Toyota visited Shambhu Niwas Palace to meet Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur on April 12, 2007. Mr.and Mrs. Tokuichi Liranishi - Executive Vice President, TMC, Japan ; Mr. Akira Okabe - Sr. Managing Director, TMC, Japan ; Mr. Vikram Kirloskar - Vice Chairman, TKMPL, India ; Mr. and Mrs. Masahikd Kawabata - Deputy Managing Director, TKMPL, India and Mr. Rajendra Singh - Managing Director, R. S. Motors Pvt. Ltd. Udaipur were amongst the delegates.
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails and dinner for the Toyota group. The dinner was also attended by Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur.

Miss Swasti Mittal and Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary
The marriage took place between Swasti daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ashok Mittal and Nirvana son of Mr. and Mrs. Binod Chaudhary. The marriage celebration started with a cocktail party and dinner on the 18th April at the Park Hyatt Beach Side Hotel. On the 19th April, Bhaath was followed by the Mehendi ceremony, Tika Mudda, a musical program and Rati Jaga at the Taj Exotica. The marriage ceremony itself took place on 20th April. It was followed by a reception and dinner. Shirji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur was present in Goa for the celebrations.

Consecration ceremony at Intali Kheda, Salumber, Rajasthan
Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited Intali Kheda for the consecration of Shivling at a Shiva Temple on April 30, 2007.
He was welcomed at Salumber before joining a procession of vehicles to Intali Kheda. After the consecration ceremony Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur addressed the villagers. He also honoured the subscribers and organisers by presenting them with Paag which he symbolically tied.
