Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attends Cornell –Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended a course at the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore between the 10th and 19th January 2008. He gained certificates in operations management for the hospitality industry, strategic marketing for hotels and restaurants and strategic hospitality management. Maharaj Kumar was appointed General Manager, Jagmandir on the 16th January 2008.
Maharaj Kumar spent several years in Australia returning to Udaipur in 2007. He graduated as 'Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality Management' from The Blue Mountains Hotel School in Australia.
His hands-on training and exposure in hotel management in Australia, and recently in Singapore, has given Maharaj Kumar the confidence and expertise to initiate several strategic and operational changes in key enterprises of the HRH Group of Hotels.
He is a proactive manager who enjoys working closely with the operations and project teams. He was actively involved in the construction of the Darikhana Restaurant that opened in November 2007. Its success is testimony to the painstaking work implemented by the Project Team under his leadership
At the Palki Khana, the European-style café at The Manek Chowk, Maharaj Kumar worked with F&B and operations to enhance the menu and ensure that the service emulates the best-practices used in cafés in Europe and Australia.
During his schooling at Mayo College, Ajmer, Maharaj Kumar excelled in art and photography. His work was exhibited, at that time, in several exhibitions in Ajmer and New Delhi.
