Miss Deepika Alhawat, Research Asst. Asian Department and Ms. Anna Jackson, Deputy Keeper, Asian Dept. from the V & A accompanied a group of key journalists from the UK who visited Udaipur in March to meet Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, see the exhibits to be loaned and receive a briefing on the history of The House of Mewar.

During their three day visit they stayed at Shiv Niwas Palace and Fateh Prakash Palace and met Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur who hosted cocktails for them on the 9th March After cocktails the guests watched a performance of the Sound and Light Show and had a private dinner at the Mor Chowk, The City Palace Museum

On the 10th March they visited the Vintage and Classic Car Collection, Garden Hotel, Udaipur and The City Palace Museum, Udaipur and had lunch at The Palki Khana before participating in the Holika Dahan celebrations. On their final day in Udaipur they visited Jagmandir Island Palace and were treated to a rejuvenating treatment at the Panghat Spa. In the evening a conference with a question and answer session took place at the Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace that was attended by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Baojiraj Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur.
