• On the 25th January, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails for a US Delegation visiting Udaipur. Delegates included Mr. and Mrs. James Landis Martin, Mr. and Mrs. John Kenneth Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Chappell Hutcheson Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Stevens. Mr. Rakesh Asthana and Mr. Richard Hanlon were also present.

Vaid Society's Cricket Competition
Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest for the Award Distribution Ceremony as the Mewar Royal cricket team won the 9th Vaid Society's cricket competition for the second time on the 5th January. Mr. Bhanwarlal Vaid presided over the event.

Polio Free International Rally
Rotary Club Meera organized a Polio Free International Rally on the second day of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards on the 9th January for some 100 participants from across the globe. The rally was flagged off by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur from Hotel Anand Bhawan. “Polio Free World” was one of the slogans recited as the rally moved through the city. Club President, Dr. Jyoti Chowdhary; District Governor, Dr. J P Vyas; Assistant Governor, Dr. Anil Kothari joined other distinguished participants on the rally.
