Mr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur celebrates his 25th Birthday
Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur celebrated his 25th birthday on 22nd January. Mr. Mewar started his day receiving the blessings from Shree Eklingnath ji and followed by a blessing from his father Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur. Mr. Mewar than received greetings and nazrana from friends and relatives. Among those present were the Eminent personalities of Udaipur, Industrialists, Administrative and Police Officials and employees of the palace. Mr. Mewar was felicitated with fragrant bouquets of flowers, assorted gifts and cards. Shiv Niwas Palace gifted him a cake depicting the security team of The City Palace Complex. Lake Palace gifted him with a fresh Strawberry Cake Delight!

Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS) was held on the 21st and 22nd January. On the opening day the programme started with the lighting of a lamp when Mr. P. I. Sabu, Regional Officer, CBSE was Chief Guest. Mr. S.K .Sharma , Vice Principal, MMPS welcomed the honourable Chief Guest Mr. P.I. Sabu, Mrs. Vijayaraj Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, Chairperson, Management Committee, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Prof. H.R.Tyagi, Vice Chairman, Management Committee, and Shri Mohan Singhji Kothari, a member of the Management Committee. The welcome speech was followed by a Cultural programme. Mr. Sharma applauded the effort made by the students and teachers and congratulated them for their wonderful programme. He was presented with a Memento by Mrs. Mewar and a vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl, Miss Shristi Singhal.

On the second day of the programme, Brigadier A.K.Shukla was Chief Guest. Mrs Mewar, Chairperson, Management Committee, Prof. H.R.Tyagi, Vice Chairman, Management Committee were also present. The programme started with the lighting of lamp and was followed by Cultural Programme. 80 students were awarded Academic prizes. 58 students were awarded scholarships of Rs 1001/- each. Aviral Shah of Class XII Science was declared the Best Student, Nupur Samar XII Commerce the Best All Rounder, Aditya Singh Tank, IX, best NCC Cadet (Boys) and Chitrakshi Sharma of IX best NCC Cadet (Girls).
Pratap House won the Cycle Race Trophy. Raman House was the proud recipient of the Cock House Trophy. The students were felicitated by the Chief Guest. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Mrs. Mewar. The chief guest gave a rousing speech and congratulated all the participants on their hard work in putting the programme together. The final vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Head Girl, Miss Nupur Samar.
