Sunday 10th October,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was special guest at the Lake City Carnival with Mr. T.L. Meena, Inspector General of Police, Udaipur Range; Mr. Hemant Gera, District Collector Udaipur; Col. I.S. Sehdev, Group Commander, NCC Udaipur; Ms. Rajani Dangi, Chairperson, Municipal Council, Udaipur; Mr. Rajeev Sharma, LIC Head, Udaipur; Mr. K.G. Gattani, Head, Oriental Palace Resorts, Mr. V.S. Shekhawat, Unit Head, Dainik Bhaskar Udaipur and many other dignitaries from Udaipur and the environs. The presentation of prizes at the Lake City Carnival was organized by Dainik Bhaskar Group and The Oriental Palace Resorts, Udaipur.

Mr. K.G. Gattani and Mrs. Shradha Gattani head of Oriental Palace Resorts one of the main sponsor's flagged off the carnival started at the Town Hall heading towards Lake Fatehsagar, Udaipur.

The Carnival was the first of its type to be held in Udaipur. The organizers hope it will attract tourists visiting the region with its hundreds of ingeniously designed floats representing science, art, culture, dance, drama, music, television, sports, history, heritage, statehood, nationality, folklore, custom, traditions and other aspects of life. The 1930 Ford-A Standard Phaeton from the unique private collection of vintage cars of the House of Mewar, The Vintage and Classic Car Collection, Garden Hotel, Udaipur was one of the main highlights at the carnival.

2. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was chief guest at the Cultural Garba Mahotsav 2010 held at The Oriental Palace Resort, Udaipur. The event was jointly organized by Triyambaka Developers Pvt. Ltd., Vishvashwarya Calls, Satyanam Shikshan Sansthan. Dainik Bhaskar was the Media partner for the event.

Thursday 14th October,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest at the Cultural Garba Festival held at Hiran Magri Sector 14, Udaipur. Mr. Prem Singh Shaktawat, President, Nirman Samiti, Udaipur and Mr. Bhawar Singh Devada also attended the event.
