1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, President, Udaipur District Cricket Association congratulated the Udaipur Cricket Team on their victory on winning the Colvin Shield with a cash reward of ` 2 Lakh at The City Palace Complex, Udaipur. Mr. Ajay Singh Boheda, Vice President, District Cricket Association Udaipur; Mr. Suryaveer Singh, Ranji Selector, Udaipur were also present.

It has been an outstanding year for the Executive committee of Udaipur District Cricket Association headed by Mr. Mewar as the team also won the Under 14 and 16 championships.

Saturday 2nd October,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest at the 'Phoenix' Freshers' party when the winners of Miss and Mr. Fresher from Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur were announced at Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur. Mr. Mewar crowned Mr. Prithvi Raj Singh as Mr. Fresher, Ms. Saayana Dawood and Ms. Shivani Chug as Miss. Fresher.

Friday 8th October,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, President, Udaipur District Cricket Association was chief guest at the finals of the Under 16 Cricket Championships held at The Field Club Ground, Udaipur.

The Udaipur team won the match defeating Barmer after a first innings lead. Mr. Mewar distributed prizes to the winning team. Mr. Mahendra Sharma, Treasurer, Rajasthan Cricket Association; Mr. Devram, Barmer Cricket Association and Mr. Manoj Choudhary also attended the Match.

2. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, President, Udaipur District Cricket Association presented trophies as Chief Guest at the finals of the Patrika Cup organised at the MB A stadium, Udaipur. The match was won by Ward 22 defeating Ward 23 by 22 runs.

The Tournament was jointly organized by Rajasthan Patrika, Coca-Cola, Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Pacific University and Geetanjali Medical College with the support of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. The tournament aims to provide opportunities to young talent from different Wards in the city.
