In the evening, Kathak Dancer from Delhi, Ms. Swati Sinha performed an exquisite dance with colourful light effects at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur. Her performance showcased the mythology behind the celebration of Holi in Mathura.

Smt. Vijayraj Kumari Mewar of Udaipur lit the lamp in presence of Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur and also felicitated Ms. Swati presenting her with a souvenir.

Day 2 – 24th March

As part of the ongoing Holi festival celebrations at The City Palace, the day started with an Indian traditional musical performance at Khush Mahal Terrace by Pandit Ramkrishna Bose (Santoor player) and Ms. Mamta Sharma (Vocalist –Hindustani Classical Music).

The evening ended with Hori Geet and Thumri performances by Ms. Shashwati Mandal Paul (Gwalior Style) at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur in the evening.
